Successful assembly trade fair Motek 2024
The 42nd Motek, the international trade fair for production and assembly automation, took place in Stuttgart from 8 to 11 October 2024. This year, it was once again a complete success for SCHMIDT Technology. Numerous visitors were particularly impressed by the demonstration of the positioning repeatability of 1 - 3 µ using the example of our SCHMIDT® ServoPress under maximum load. The new SCHMIDT® ElectricPress 347 also enticed many visitors to try out the intuitive user interface of the SCHMIDT® PressControl 700. We are very pleased with the positive feedback and the numerous contacts we were able to make. This is encouraging in times like these and will continue to inspire our efforts to develop innovative problem solvers.
Many thanks to all visitors and interested parties.

SCHMIDT Technology was able to build on its success at Achema 2024
After a modestly attended Achema 2022, SCHMIDT Technology was able to build on its previous successes at Achema 2024. The number of visitors and contacts was not yet back to the old level of 2018, but there was an extremely strong increase. In addition to a large number of customers, many potential new customers also visited us. Very interesting discussions and promising contacts were made, so that the follow-up to the trade fair could be started with confidence. The focus of the exhibition was the robust flow sensor SS 20.700 for heavy-duty applications, the ATEX version SS 23.700 Ex of this sensor, as well as the new laminar flow probe SS 20.715 LED, which is derived from the sensor head design. This new sensor was particularly well received in clean applications with “contamination potential” from product dust or when there is a risk of damage to the dumbbell head sensor due to manipulation in the isolator through glove inlets.

Equipped with the advanced SCHMIDT® PressControl 700 and the stable SCHMIDT® PU 20 press base on castors, this press demonstrated its high precision and performance. We also demonstrated a key fob application on the ElectricPress 347, which emphasised the versatility of this assembly press. Visitors were impressed by its precision and speed.
SCHMIDT® PneumaticPress 24 with SCHMIDT® PressControl 75
The SCHMIDT® PneumaticPress 24 demonstrated its efficiency in combination with the SCHMIDT® PressControl 75, additionally mounted on the height-adjustable press base PU 20 HV, which improved its adaptability to different working environments.
Force-displacement monitored SCHMIDT® ManualPress 307
The SCHMIDT® ManualPress 307 attracted attention because it combines manual operation and force-displacement monitoring with modern press technology.
New SCHMIDT® DuplexPress 8 and manual SCHMIDT® rack and pinion press 6
The SCHMIDT® DuplexPress 8 presented itself as an innovative solution for manual production requirements. This combination of performance and user-friendliness was met with great interest by the trade fair visitors. In comparison, the manual rack and pinion press 6 was shown, which was mounted together on a robust PU 20 press base.
SCHMIDT® rack and pinion press 5 RFZ
A popular classic is the SCHMIDT® rack and pinion press 5 RFZ with a black chrome-plated surface. This special design ensures dust-free operation and opens up new possibilities for precise manufacturing processes in sensitive environments. Overall, the GLOBAL INDUSTRIE trade fair in Paris presented an impressive range of press machines that emphasise the advancement of innovation and quality in industrial manufacturing. The technologies presented promise to further improve efficiency and precision in various manufacturing processes and fulfil the requirements of modern industry.

Successful Ambiente 2024 consumer goods trade fair
From 27 to 30 January 2024, the mega trade fair for the consumer goods industry took place in Frankfurt am Main under the motto "Celebrating Business Together". SCHMIDT Technology also successfully exhibited at the trio of consumer goods trade fairs in Frankfurt, consisting of Ambiente, Christmasworld and Creativeworld. We presented our writing instrument technology division as part of the "Office Heros" together with other well-known names in the stationery industry. Both the organiser and we noticed a positive trend. Numerous customers, partners and interested parties took the opportunity for in-depth technical discussions with Mr Schnee (Sales), Ms Kopp (Sales) and Mr Flaig (Development).
We were also able to present our new Safety Ceramic Rollingball refill SCR 888 EF to the international specialist audience. We offer the extra-fine refill with a 0.5 mm ceramic ball and robust stainless steel tip in the writing colours black and blue. The Safety technology is characterised by increased open bearing capability, making it particularly suitable for use in devices without a cap seal.

LOUNGES 2023 – Cleanroom Processes
The international industry event for cleanroom processes - LOUNGES 2023 - took place in Karlsruhe from 18 to 20 April 2023. SCHMIDT Technology was also present again as an exhibitor and was able to make new contacts and strengthen existing relationships.
On three very well attended trade fair days, the SCHMIDT® Flow Sensor SS 20.715 LED was presented as a product innovation to the high-expert audience. The SS 20.715 LED is a flow sensor for monitoring laminar flow in cleanrooms, clean applications and processes. The main focus here is on the safe and energy-efficient operation of cleanrooms, as well as pharmaceutical production, filling and packaging systems. In addition to the new SS 20.715 LED, a cleanroom demonstrator was used to demonstrate the principle of overflow measurement from cleanroom to cleanroom and to show visitors the effects of opening doors and airlocks. For this cleanroom application, the SCHMIDT flow sensor SS 20.400 is used, which particularly stands out with its unique functionality of bi-directional measurement and thus ensures safe operation of the cleanroom day and night. Even in clean applications in explosive atmospheres, this sensor in ATEX design can be used safely. At LOUNGES 2023, visitors were once again able to listen to numerous specialist presentations, including one from SCHMIDT Technology on the topic of "Verification and Calibration of Flow Sensors". Here we were able to show the attentive expert audience the differences between verification or reference measurement and manufacturer calibration and go into more detail about the differences between factory calibration and DAkkS-accredited calibration. Looking back, LOUNGES 2023 was once again a great success.

Great interest at the BAM 2022 careers and training fair in Sankt Georgen in the Black Forest
The SCHMIDT Technology information stand at the job and training fair (BAM) in St. Georgen aroused great interest among students and parents who were looking for an apprenticeship. Here, all those interested had the opportunity to obtain comprehensive information about the training with us and the individual professions. Trainer Heiko Abelmann and the trainees Tuba Sidan, Pirmin Kern and Adrian Wangler also showed some products from the writing instrument technology as well as pieces from the in-house training workshop. A special highlight was the compressed air steam engine designed and built by trainees, whose air consumption is controlled by a SCHMIDT® Flow sensor measured, the data via Bluetooth™ and displayed on a tablet.
