2024: Six Apprentices Begin Their Career Journey at SCHMIDT Technology
On September 2nd, six young individuals embarked on their apprenticeships at SCHMIDT Technology in three different trades, laying the foundation for their future careers. The recent graduates have chosen to train as industrial clerks, industrial mechanics, and tool mechanics.
Production Manager Ulrich Heck, HR Manager Angelika Müller, and Trainer Heiko Abelmann warmly welcomed the new apprentices and their parents to SCHMIDT Technology. During the welcome session, the new recruits and their parents were given a comprehensive overview of the company, its products, and especially the training center. Equipped with new work attire, the young talents began the first step in their professional lives.
SCHMIDT Technology currently employs both industrial and commercial apprentices. Throughout its more than 85-year history, the company has always placed great importance on the qualified training of skilled workers. Even during economically challenging times, the company has adhered to this philosophy to offer young people in the region career opportunities and to develop its own skilled workforce.
